If you are on a low income the NHS can help towards costs of prescription, eye tests, dental appointments and more. The help you get is dependant on your income, necessary outgoings and the amount you have in savings and investments. Any support you receive is also is also available to your partner.
Criteria
To apply you must meet one of the following criteria:
- a pensioner
- a student
- earning a wage
- receiving state benefits
- living in a care home
- and you must also not have more than £6,000 in savings or investments
