Take on a flexible walking challenge this September to raise awareness for people living with sight loss across Hampshire.

OpenSight is celebrating 104 years of supporting people with sight loss by launching Steps for Sight, a community challenge taking place this September.

Choose a walking challenge that suits you! You can complete 104,000 steps across the month, 14,000 steps in a single day, work as a team or individually, or even create your own 104-themed challenge to mark the charity’s 104th anniversary.

Unlike traditional fundraising events, Steps for Sight has been designed to be flexible and inclusive, making it easy for everyone to get involved regardless of age, fitness level or ability. Whether participants walk with friends, family, colleagues or on your own, every step taken will help raise awareness to ensure OpenSight can continue delivering its vital services throughout Hampshire.

When you take on a challenge for OpenSight, you become part of the team. Once you’ve registered, we’ll be there every step of the way to help you smash your fundraising target, what ever you decide for it to be.

Your Fundraising Pack will get you started, and we’ll contact you with advice, ideas and regular support.
