CEO

Chris leads OpenSight towards its strategic goals, ensuring its success and growth. This includes decision-making, strategic planning, and overseeing operations to achieve desired results aligned with the organisation's mission and strategy.

Debbie Ross

Head of Volunteering and Training

Debbie is responsible for overseeing the effective management of volunteers and the operation of our social clubs.

Ian Morris

Head of Services

Ian ensures all of OpenSight’s services are delivered in a person-centered and effective way, empowering our services users to live full, active, and independent lives. He also leads the development and rollout of new services, co-developing them with members of the vision impaired community. Ian has been blind for over 20 years and is supported in his work by his Guide Dog Millsey.

Gemma McKnight

Head of Income Generation and Communications

Gemma ensures we have the necessary funds to support our work through a sustainable funding model comprised of various revenue schemes. She also oversees our internal and external communications, ensuring they’re engaging and effective.
