Get Involved
We’re also looking for new Volunteer Tech Champions to join the team.
To offer patient, friendly IT support to vision-impaired clients, helping them feel confident using technology in everyday life – and enabling greater independence along the way.
Support may take place remotely, in local community settings, at home, or through home visits. Volunteers help people get the most from accessible devices, software, and digital tools, playing an important role in reducing digital exclusion across Hampshire.
A tech background is helpful, but not essential. What matters most is a willingness to support others, learn new things, and take a patient, person-centred approach.
If you’re curious about technology, or simply want to help someone stay connected, find their way, or use their device with ease, you’ll fit right in. Guidance, training, and ongoing support are provided every step of the way by the brilliant team at OpenSight.
Together, we’re closing the digital gap – one calm click at a time.
