Blue Badge Scheme

29th May 2026
Example of blue badge

The blue badge allows those with disabilities to park in places other drivers cannot. This includes disabled spaces in carparks, designated bays on streets and on single/ double yellow lines. Some places may have time limits, these usually consist of up to 3 hours, we recommend checking signage before parking.

You can use the blue badge when you are driving, when you are a passenger, or if you are being picked up/ dropped off and you require the driver to park closer to where you need to go.
