Working with OpenSight sight impairment charity has significantly enhanced accessibility at a Southampton airport, making travel more inclusive for visually impaired passengers. Through collaborative efforts, the airport implemented a range of initiatives, reviewed the installation of tactile paving, audio wayfinding systems, clear signage in Braille and also contracting door frames. These improvements have created a safer and more navigable environment for travellers with sight impairments, allowing them to move independently through the airport.
